SUV Wraps for Work and Personal SUVs in Dallas-Fort Worth

What Is an SUV Wrap?

An SUV wrap is vinyl applied over the SUV’s paint, either to brand it for a business, to change its color, or both. SUVs give a design more room than most cars: tall doors, long rear quarter panels, and a liftgate that faces everyone behind you, enough space for a logo, a short service list, and a phone number without crowding. We design, print, and install SUV wraps in-house at 2433 FM 917 in Mansfield, TX, from a full wrap on a Chevrolet Tahoe for P&D Auto Hail Center to partial graphics on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Smaller vehicles are covered on our car wraps page.

Full, Partial, or Color Change for Your SUV

Most SUV projects take one of three routes. A full wrap covers every painted panel, which suits a business that wants the whole vehicle to read as its brand, like the Ford Bronco Sport we wrapped for Texas WIC. A partial wrap puts graphics on the doors, quarter panels, and liftgate and lets the factory paint fill in the rest, a common choice when the paint already works with your logo. A color change replaces how the paint looks entirely, as on the pink Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we wrapped. Our partial vehicle wraps page explains how wrapped and painted areas work together.

Why Service Businesses Put Their Brand on an SUV

An SUV spends the day in client driveways, office lots, and neighborhoods, which makes it a natural place for a company name. Home care and duct cleaning companies show how it works: Mr. Duct Cleaner runs a partially wrapped Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Home Instead Senior Care has an SUV with partial graphics from our shop. A clean design announces who has arrived before anyone knocks, and because it sits at eye level in a parking lot, the phone number and service line are easy to read up close. If the SUV is one of several vehicles, our commercial vehicle wraps page covers branding a mixed group.

A Recent SUV Wrap Project

We recently completed a partial wrap for Home Instead Senior Care on an SUV. The doors stay white with the company logo, a fleet number, and the phone number and web address beneath it. A purple panel across the rear door and quarter carries photos of two smiling women and a list of services: personal care, companionship, transportation, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and more. Partial coverage leaves the factory paint showing and puts the message where people see it. The photos are printed large on the rear panel so they stay clear whether the SUV is parked or moving. We designed, printed, and installed the wrap in-house.

SUV Wrap Design Ideas

What to Plan Before Wrapping Your SUV

Liftgate Layout

Decide what goes on the liftgate, since the rear window, wiper, and badges break up that panel.

Rails and Hitches

Tell us about roof rails, running boards, and tow hitches so the design works around them.

Window Coverage

Choose whether graphics stay on the body or continue onto the rear side windows.

Daily Use

Say if the SUV doubles as a family vehicle, since that affects how bold the design should be.

SUV wraps are planned around the exact model, so start with the year, make, and trim, plus photos of all four sides. Send your logo files, brand colors, and the one message you want people to remember, and tell us the shade and finish if you are changing color. Leased SUVs are wrapped regularly, but check your lease terms first. Then request a free quote, and we will recommend full, partial, or color change coverage.

I highly recommend 1st Class Graphics for all commercial vehicle marketing materials. My initial discovery call with Gary was very informative and enthusiastic. Next was the design phase, where the graphic designer brought my ideas into reality. It was a collaborative effort from start to finish, only requiring 3 iterations. Lastly, payment and pickup. They are priced competitively and have a quick turnaround. When I received my trailer I was pleasantly shocked at the value I received! Just look at the pics! Needles to say 1st Class Graphics has secured a lifelong customer.

First Class Graphics has been great to work with. The Designer is very skilled. I closely observed the finish install and everything is cut and sealed perfectly. First two weeks with truck on the road I have multiple new projects from people walking up to the truck. It has been an amazing investment. Bringing in more vehicles soon. 5 stars all day!

Once again, 1st Class Graphics nailed our wrap. He’s done vehicle wraps on several vehicles for multiple companies of mine and just wrapped a very long wall in my new restaurant. We just signed a three-year contract to be an official partner of the Texas Rangers baseball team.He designed a perfect wall wrap and he will be used for all of my future expansions as well. Great service, communication and very professional.

SUV Wrap FAQs

What does it cost to wrap an SUV?

The price depends on the SUV’s size, whether you choose a full wrap, partial graphics, or a color change, and how much design work the layout needs. A full-size Tahoe takes more material and install time than a compact crossover. Send the year, make, and model with photos, and get a free quote.

Yes. A color change wrap covers the body panels in a new shade or finish while the factory paint stays underneath. It suits owners who want a fresh look now and may want the original color back at resale. Better paint condition gives a cleaner result, so we inspect it first.

Not when the paint is original and sound. The film bonds to the clear coat and releases cleanly when it is removed the right way, and while it is on it shields the paint from sun and light scuffs. Aftermarket respray, chips, or peeling clear coat are the exceptions, because they can lift with the film.

That depends on how the SUV is used and stored. A daily driver parked outside in Texas sun ages faster than one kept in a garage, and gentle hand washing is easier on the film than brush car washes. Keeping the wrap clean and fixing a lifted edge early helps it last.

Yes. An SUV wrap can come off when you sell or trade the vehicle, change your branding, or want the original color back. Removal is easiest on factory paint in good condition, so plan it before a trade-in date. For a complete-coverage look, see our full vehicle wraps page.
